Privacy Policy

Effective 10 September 2026 Last updated 10 September 2026

The short version. This site has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you. The rest of this page is an honest account of the small amount of data that gets processed anyway, mostly by the companies that host and deliver the site.

1. Who is responsible

SunnyOrange LLC, which publishes games under the studio name 237 Studio, is the controller of any personal data described here. 237 Studio is a studio name, not a separate company, and there is no entity called 237 Studio LLC.

Privacy questions and requests go to [email protected].

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at 237studio.co.

It does not cover our games. Neither game has been released. When one ships, whatever it does with data, including anything a Steam multiplayer session needs to transmit, will be documented before release, either in an added section here or in a policy of its own linked from the game's page.

It also does not cover services we link to but do not run, such as Steam, Discord, YouTube, Instagram and Reddit. Those have their own policies.

3. What we do not do

  • No accounts, logins, newsletters, comment boxes or contact forms.
  • No analytics of any kind. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no pixel, no beacon.
  • No advertising and no advertising networks.
  • No cookies set by this site.
  • No selling or sharing of personal information, in the ordinary sense of those words and in the specific sense the California Consumer Privacy Act gives them.

4. What happens automatically when you load a page

Hosting and delivery

The site's files are stored in Google Cloud Storage and delivered through Cloudflare. To send a page to your browser, those services necessarily process your IP address, the address of the page you asked for, your user agent string, the time of the request and similar connection details. They keep short-term logs of this for delivery, abuse prevention and security. This is Cloudflare's and Google's processing rather than ours, and it is the ordinary technical minimum for putting a website on the internet. We do not use those logs to identify visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

The legal basis, where the UK or EU GDPR applies, is our legitimate interest in delivering a working and secure website.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Your browser fetches them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which discloses your IP address and user agent to Google as part of that request. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to create profiles for advertising. If you would rather not make that request, a content blocker will stop it and the site will fall back to typefaces already on your device.

Storage in your browser

If you use the light and dark theme switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key 237-theme. That value stays on your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and can be removed by clearing site data for this domain. Nothing else is stored on your device by this site.

5. If you email us

Mail sent to an address at 237studio.co is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox we read. Handling your message therefore means Cloudflare and our mailbox provider process it in transit and at rest, along with your email address, your name if you give one, and whatever else you write.

We use that only to reply to you and to keep a record of the exchange. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that purpose, and longer where we have to for legal or accounting reasons. Please do not send sensitive personal information by email. Note that anything you send us as feedback about a game is also covered by section 6 of the Terms of Use.

6. Where data goes

SunnyOrange LLC is organised in the State of California, United States, and the providers described above operate globally. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the limited processing described here may involve your data being handled in the United States. Those providers rely on transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We hold no database of visitors ourselves.

7. How long anything is kept

  • Server and CDN logs: kept for the short retention periods set by Cloudflare and Google Cloud, not by us.
  • Email: kept while it is useful for answering you and for our records.
  • Theme preference: kept in your browser until you clear it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, to ask for it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with similar laws have comparable rights, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them.

In practice we hold very little: for most visitors, nothing at all beyond the provider logs described above, which are not linked to a name. If you have emailed us, we hold that email.

To exercise a right, write to [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to ask a question to confirm you are the person the data relates to, and if we cannot verify that, we may have to decline the request.

If you are in the UK or the EEA and are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is nothing here to opt out of. This site does no tracking, so Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change what it does. We honour them by default because the default is already no tracking.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because it holds no accounts, no payment details and no visitor database, there is no store of personal data here to breach. Email is protected by the security of the providers that carry it.

12. Changes to this policy

If this changes, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. If we ever start collecting something we do not collect today, such as adding analytics or shipping a game with online features, we will update this page before that starts, not after.
